Technology Classroom: Large Auditorium

                                         Locate System Components:

  A. Touchscreen

  B. PC (CPU under Bench)

  C. PC Monitor and Keyboard

  D. Guest PC Cables

  E. Document Camera

  F. VHS VCR (Under Bench)

  

Locate audio amplifier, turn on power and adjust volume as desired for audio sources.

Touch screen to activate system.

 The opening screen appears.  

 Touch screen a second time.

   The projector starts and lamp 

   warms up.

Main menu appears. Select a source.
Turn on audio amplifier located in side closet.
                                                Using the Host PC
   Boot up the PC

   Select "Host PC" on the 

   touch screen.

 Image appears on monitor and

 large screen.

                         Use a Laptop Computer on the Guest Port

  Connect your laptop to the 

  system. Using cables on top of 

  bench.

 Plug laptop power supply into

 Back of the Document 

 Camera.

   Touch "Guest PC" on the

   touch screen.

Boot up the laptop. Image should appear on the large screen. See your computer's directions for specific details..

                                                  Use the VHS VCR
Touch "VCR" on the Touchscreen
Second menu appears with VCR function buttons.
   Place videocassette into VCR
   Touch the play button

 The image appears on the main screen and touch screen.

   A full sized image appears on the touchscreen by touching the small

   image. Restore function keys and small image by touching the large

   image.

                                           Using the Document Camera
Select "Doc Camera" on the touch screen.
 Turn on the Document Camera.
 Place materials on the document camera stage.
   Focus and zoom in  the image.

                                                 Shut down System
   Press "System Off:" button
   Confirm shutdown; Yes or No
Projector shuts off and cools down
